Jennifer was born and raised in McAllen, Texas, a city located at the southern tip of the state in the Rio Grande Valley. She received a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor with honors from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

She is a first-generation college graduate and attorney. It is her experience growing up in a border city that fueled her passion for immigration law. She strives to continue to be an agent, advocate, and resource for the immigrant community.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys working out, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
